Improvements in Mols Shopping Centre Lead to Sales and Customer Loyalty Growth

Last year and the very beginning of this year has been a time of real success full of new changes for Mols, one of the oldest shopping centres in Riga. In 2011, sales of Mols have grown by 10% and number of purchases by 7.3%. Value of an average purchase reached LVL 10.10 demonstrating an increase of 3.6% that was the highest indicator among Galactico shopping centres last year.

Reduction of Power Consumption

It was in September 2008 that Linstow Center Management (LCM), a Galactico shopping centre developer (Alfa, Galerija Centrs, Mols, Dole and Origo Shopping Centres) and real estate operator, commenced introduction of energy efficiency projects in all Galactico shopping centres, and in 2012 five years will have passed since the startup of this programme. In 2008, the initial purpose of LCM was to reduce the energy (electric power and heating) consumption by no less than 15% (taking power resource consumption in 2007 as reference data) in the three years to come; actually the result is energy consumption reduction by 25-30% on average, while in some shopping centres the figure is even 35-50%.

Unique Photo Exhibition on History of Galerija Centrs
