The concluding phase of the construction of Linstow Centre Management’s (LCM) expanded Origo shopping centre building has begun.  The modern office centre “Origo One” will be on the 4th to the 6th floor of the building, and it will offer functional and transformable A-class office space.  The real estate developer says that the first lessors in the new centre and companies which have internationally and nationally known brands — Narvesen Baltija, Hili Properties, LETA and TV NET.

The LCM director for leasing and business development, Mārcis Budļevskis:  “The fact that such important companies have become our first renters and have expressed interest and a selection in favour of the “Origo One” officer centre is a very good evaluation of the work that we are doing.  LETA and TV NET have a team of more than 200 employees, and they are renting a substantial area – 2,000 m2.  They understand the exclusive advantages and technological opportunities of A-class offices.  We are proud that we can offer an excellent working environment that can easily be adapted to the specifics of the company’s work.  The functionality of the offices is supplemented by the fact that we have observed standards related to the sustainability of the building.  “Origo One” is an appropriate place for companies which appreciate long-term quality, want to make sure that employees have a healthy working environment, and enjoy the conveniences that visitors will experience because the office is in the very heart of Rīga.”

It is already known that the “Origo One” office centre will soon have the Narvesen Baltija retail franchise company, the international real estate investment company Hili Properties, the national news agency LETA and the Latvian Internet portal company TV NET.  Negotiations are continuing with the world’s leading real estate service and investment management company, Colliers International.  The management of leasing at the “Origo One” project, in fact, is being handled by none other than the Colliers International team.

As has been reported in the past, LCM is erecting a new building as part of the expansion of the Origo shopping centre.  It is on a plot of land that is alongside the shopping centre at Satekles Street 2B in Rīga.  Late in February or early in March, the expanded part of Origo will reopen to visitors, and the plan is to open the business centre in February.  The new buildings satisfy the BREEAM standards, which are the leading sustainability evaluation method in the world, thus ensuring that they will be sustainable, energy-effective and friendly to the environment and to employees.  The shopping centre will be on the first three floors of the building, while the 4th to the 6th floor will have 11,500 m2 in floorspace for the “Origo One” business centre.  Along with the expansion of the building, LCM is rebuilding the corner of Elizabetes and Satekles streets to improve road traffic safety, improve the flow of transport and increase the level of comfort for all participants in the traffic system (particularly pedestrians and bicyclists) on one of the most burdened corners in Rīga.  The reconstruction of the Origo shopping centre will continue until the autumn of 2020, and during that period of time, Building A of the shopping centre will be closed.
